I feel sorry for the umpy

Easy to relate to - these footy teams could be anywhere and at least one team would be complaining about the umpire. The viewer gets a sense of enjoyment and community from the clip and a new tradition being honoured. Perhaps that the teams, even while complaining about the umpire, didn't really take winning or losing seriously, is a good lesson to us all.

Audience question: Why is it always the umpire who is blamed?

Short and sweet

Although far too short, loved it and thought it was great. Yuendumu vs Utju's knock out final epitomises a form of modern day Aboriginal religion that exists in all our communities right across this land.
